Mary Judith “Judy” Webb

1942 – 2024

Judy leaves an indelible impression on those who loved her and those who were lucky enough to connect with her during her lifetime.  She had a special way of making people in her life, whether she knew them for a long time or just met them feel valued, understood, and loved.

Judy was the daughter of Samuel B. Webb and Florence M. Webb.  She is survived by her uncle Buddy Pachuta, cousins Frank and Terri Annaloro, Melissa and Jonathan Guay and their children Caden, Madison, and Abigail, and Donald Pachuta and her extended family – Valerie and Randy Cernuda, Forrest Ray Yaeger, Laura and Annette Dayton-Yaeger, and the grandkids she loved, Max and Ella Dayton-Yaeger and Luke Yaeger.

Judy was the consummate professional.  For 23 years she was a resident manager at American Express spending most of her career at The American Adventure EPCOT Center at Disney World.  She believed there was something magical about the travel business and Disney.  That made it easy for her to fall in love with Disney and Mickey Mouse.  Her loyalty and dedication to American Express, Disney, and the White Glove Treatment never waned even after her retirement.

She had an impeccable reputation and was respected for the “spectacular way in which she conducted her business.” During her tenure at American Express she received awards, accolades, and praise for her leadership, integrity, hospitality, customer service, dedication, and professionalism.  Colleagues, employees, customers, and higher ups sang her praises – “exemplary job in leadership, morale building, and guidance”, “your staffs’ professionalism is a tribute to you”, “hard-working and most customer concerned people this company has”, “honored to have worked with you”,  “achieved the highest standards set by the Company”, “thank you for your hospitality…the initiative you have shown is marvelous and rare.”

She was a rare spirit with a radiant smile and compassionate heart.  She touched so many lives … she saved a quote that exudes how she impacted all who she met and how she will live on in our hearts – “A life that touches goes on forever.”

Don’t stand at my grave and weep; I am not there, I do not sleep. I am thousand winds that blow; I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain; I am the gentle autumn’s rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush, I am the swift uplifting rush. Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there; I did not die.

A life celebration is being planned. When finalized, details will be shared.

Judy and myself from middle school to her passing we were best friends. She was the maid of honor in mine and Mickey Grant’s wedding in 1961. When the Army sent Mickey to France, I was too far along in a pregnancy to go. When our son was 3 months old I went to France. Judy came to France in 1963 and we did a lot of traveling in Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and back to France. After we got out of the Army we stayed in touch and visited together. After she moved to Vegas we talked frequently and she seemed happy, healthy and in good spirits the last we spoke a few days before she passed. RIP Judy. Your friends Anna Lee and Mickey

Greatest memories ever. Soft warm gentle lady. As a young kid I just felt so cozy. Omg. All the fun at Disney. Treated like royalty. A kids life for sure. I know you have your own personal Disney, in heaven. I am so joyed of all the beautiful memories you implanted in my heart. Since your passing just know new ones flood my ❤️. So loved and missed. But Judy, your spirit makes me smile ever time I think of you. Fly my angel. I’m sure you’ll pass by ounce and a bit. Love Ray Ray.

Aunt Judy, as you requested, because you were so much more than just a cousin 🙂 You are missed tremendously. I am so blessed to share my children and our adventures with you through Facebook and text messaging. You always had the biggest heart and beaming smile. During my early days at Disney and Epcot, you taught me the 7 dwarfs’ names in alphabetical order. I have never forgotten them since that day! Visiting you in Las Vegas yielded the best personal tours from casinos, to dining, shows, and the Valley of Fire desert! I will always treasure how much fun we had when you taught me Pai Gow poker as we played together for hours at the Palace Station!!! Your infectious love I will always hold dear to my heart. I will miss you more today than yesterday and twice as much as tomorrow. Love you always Aunt Judy, Melissa
