Rodney was my first cousin. His dad and my mom were siblings. He will be sorely missed. I’m so glad we had a chance to connect on the phone during COVID. Rest well my handsome cousin!

Rodney called me late November and we reminisced for over an hour. While we were talking he told me He loved me at least three times, I didn’t know that would be the last time we would talk. Rodney didn’t share with me that he was sick, it meant a lot that he wanted to let me know how much he appreciated me for doing the things I did for him when he was young.
    Rest In Peace Son,
Love you always Your Stepmom “Ms. Evelyn”

Our family was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our Dear Cousin and Nephew Rodney. When every he was around he would tell us stories of things that happened when we were young. You see Rodney didn’t forget anything, a couple of years ago he mailed some old pics he had of the family. I was able to reconnect with Rodney while we were stationed in Arizona and he was stationed in Phoenix. My family visited and stayed with him.a couple of days, so thankful for that time with him. Rodney loved his family and he will be missed by many.
Rest in Peace Cousin….We Love you but God Loves you More🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Prayers to Rodney’s Wife and Children and the Benberry Family “Michelle, Billy, Adrienne, Felice and Kim”. I grew up with Rodney in Columbus, Ohio and we had some good times together. Rodney served in the military (Air Force) like Uncle Bill, if I’m not mistaken he did over 30 years. He was a great Dad and soldier just like his Father. I had a chance to reconnect with Rodney when we were stationed in Arizona. My family and I spent sometime with Rodney and his family in Phoenix where he was serving in the military. We kept in touch after that visit and he sent me and my brother some pictures when we were young. We will miss you and we pray you are at peace Cousin.

In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

    Rodney,
You will forever be my Best Friend. You have been in my life since I was 13 yrs old in Germany and again in Victorville, Ca. It was there you met my friend and started a family. I will never forget our talks and the times we spent together as friends. I am so, so sorry I did not keep in better touch with you once I married and got busy with my career. Such a poor excuse. You are a VERY SPECIAL man and I give my love and condolences to your beautiful wife and children.
I love you, my friend. Rest and just enjoy the view.
You are in my thoughts and in my heart always,
    Love eternal,
    Jayne
