I have tried to make a comment about this wonderful lady, yet there is not enough room to speak of her goodness, her faith, her love of life! May her soul rest in the peace of Christ.
I had the pleasure of working with Marcia at Moody AFB. She brought an unstoppable energy to her job. No matter what was happening, she just kept going. She was a true inspiration.
She was a great mother and the epitome of a military wife. The glue that kept life for 4kids life normal when our dad was gone up to a year at a time several times. My best memory was telling me “ David I don’t know why I come to your ball games, you always end up sitting in the stands with me”.
You were a wonderful mother and inspired me to be a good man . Always try to see the best in life no matter what challenges may come our way you’ll be missed dearly.love Jimmy.
What a wonderful celebration! I got all dressed up & got to watch the livestream. Thanks to Donna & Dennis & all who organized, attended & participated today. I wish I could have been there. Grandma was such a wonderful person & such a force of nature. Countless times she would be there for me & my family even though, for most of our lives, we lived away from each other. Family & faith were so important to her & I know she was always proud of the Family she helped create. I’m going to have a Crown & 7 (or 2) with some popcorn tonite! Rest easy, Grandma. I Love you.
Marcia was my dearest friend and was like a Mother to me in so many ways!! We shared holidays, travel, good times and bad times. She encouraged me to live each day as if it were my last, to be brave, and to see the positive in every situation.
I will miss her more than words can say, and will cherish every memory we made.
